The NEW Business Meeting

Normally, ASP business is conducted in a Steering Committee.  The Steering Committee is composed of the trusted servants of the meeting and holds meetings on an ad hoc basis as needed.  We will continue to use this format to deal with CURRENT issues until approximately May 1^st.

Recently on January 3^rd, we announced a NEW Business Meeting to discuss and decide on many issues that face ASP regarding the future of ASP after May 1^st.  The new Business Meeting is NOT for discussing any current issues at ASP.  This Business Meeting is open to all members of ASP.  Considering the nature and depth of the issues that the Business Meeting will be dealing with, it will be an ongoing meeting lasting many weeks or perhaps months.  Melody, the ASP Secretary, the Chairperson, has convened the meeting, posted an agenda and the first round of discussion has begun.  To participate in the Business Meeting, go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ASP_AFG/ and click on the "Join this Group" button. 

If you are new to the Business Meeting, please read ALL of these pages on the Meeting Structure and Agenda carefully.  The Agenda page shows where the meeting is currently.  The Business Meeting does not make adjustments when members enter or leave--so please do NOT interrupt the meeting to ask for a review of previous topics and discussions.
