This auction is for a used Troy-Bilt 'Horse' 8 HP rototiller.

The Troy-Bilt 'Horse' is a HEAVY DUTY rototiller.  This rototiller is built like an old tractor--all cast iron with real HD bronze bearings.  It was made to run forever.  The serial number on the case is 426071, but I don't know when it was built.  The previous owner installed a new 8 HP Briggs & Stratton engine shortly before I bought it three years ago. A new Troy-Bilt Horse sells for $1899.00. 

The tiller is in very good condition--everything works well.  The engine is a newer 8 HP Briggs & Stratton engine and is estimated to be about 5 years old.  The engine starts easily and runs great.  Equipped with heavy-duty tines that are 1/4" thick and large 4.80 x 8 ag tires that are 16" tall for excellent traction and lots of ground clearance.  This tiller is powered in both forward and reverse and has both high and low ranges. 

The handle can be raised or lowered to almost any position as well as being turned to either side so the operator can walk to one side instead of walking directly behind it.
