The wife found this beautiful 1988 560SL in Boise, Idaho while on a business trip in February of 1998. It was too nice to pass up, so I arranged to buy it while she was busy.  She wanted to drop by and look at it one more time and needless to say, was very pleasantly surprised when they handed her the paperwork to sign while she was sitting in it.

We sold it on eBay two years later when she bought her new ML320 after putting almost 30,000 nearly trouble-free miles on the car.
